Financial Giving
A great way to support 10-42 Project is through financial giving. Through your support, you take part in paving the path for us to walk out the three pillars we stand on: equip, restore, and repurpose. You make our peer mentorship program possible; that we would be able to devote time, resources, energy, and talent to the first responders that come to us seeking safety and a real change in their lives. We often say, “nobody walks alone”. We can make this true for our responders because our supporters have first made this true for 10-42 Project. We don’t do this alone, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you that choose to be part of fulfilling this mission.
Volunteering
Another great way to support 10-42 Project is to volunteer in a role you feel excited and passionate about! We have a variety of volunteer opportunities listed which cover an array of skills. If you don’t see a specific need listed that you are interested in filling, we invite you to reach out to us to talk about ways your skills can be used to further our mission and support our first responder community.
Current Volunteer Opportunities
Flyer & Brochure Distribution
Dropping off and/or mailing literature to area departments.
Newsletter
Creating a newsletter to keep our donors and community up to date. Potentially assist with newsletter distribution.
Resource Connector
Seek and establish connections with resources across Iowa. Log resources with relevant information in a shared document.
Fundraising Coordinator
Participate in fundraising planning and campaign development. Seek and connect with potential donors. Maintain donor database.
Awareness Ambassador
Attend community events including networking opportunities and share our mission and vision.
Podcast Director
Seek and schedule guests for the podcast. Post episodes to podcast to the platform and share with the social media team.
CPA
Assist with yearly tax filing and provide bookkeeping guidance.
Activities and Events Coordinator
Seek connections and resources for outdoor activities. Assist with outdoor events. Assist with planning events and obtaining supporting resources.
Prayer Team Members
Be part of a team dedicated to responding to prayer requests and regularly praying for the organization, first responders, family members, staff, and volunteers.
