Monday, January 5, 2026 – The 10-42 Project is grateful to announce it has received a $1,000 community grant from Coyote Willow Wind, supporting programming that serves current and former first responders and their families.
The grant will help advance the 10-42 Project’s mission of equipping, restoring, and repurposing first responders by strengthening resources that foster connection, belonging, and long-term well-being. Support from Coyote Willow Wind’s Community Grant Program reflects a shared commitment to investing in the people and organizations that serve and strengthen local communities.
Coyote Willow Wind’s focus on community impact aligns closely with the 10-42 Project’s work to support those who face the mental, emotional, and physical demands of a life in public service.
“This grant from Coyote Willow Wind allows us to continue showing first responders that they are not alone and that their service matters beyond the uniform,” said Dan Defenbaugh, Founder of the 10-42 Project.
Through intentional programming, meaningful relationships, and practical resources, the 10-42 Project addresses the challenges first responders face both on and off duty. Partnerships with organizations like Coyote Willow Wind make it possible to expand access to these programs and deepen their impact within the first responder community.
The 10-42 Project extends its sincere appreciation to Coyote Willow Wind for its investment in community well-being and for supporting those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving others.
